Amy S. Gardner, CPA, CGMA NC License #24740

Title: CPA, CGMA, Partner

Education: Bachelor of Arts degree, Economics- Emory and Henry College

Years invested with Lindsay & Gardner: since 2008

View on Lindsay & Gardner: Amy enjoys working with individuals with accounting and tax needs and business owners who want to grow their businesses to their fullest potential. She enjoys teaching business owners and managers the importance of strategic planning and proper reporting systems. Amy's definition of professional success is, "assisting business owners and individuals along the path of identifying financial success and peace of mind."

Amy is originally from Abingdon, Virginia. She is married to James Douglas Gardner, MD. They have five sons. Amy loves coffee, and her favorite holiday is other people's birthdays!

Teresa B. Lindsay, CPA, CGMA NC License #22560

View on Lindsay & Gardner: Teresa enjoys working with clients in new ways, teaching techniques to earn more in their business as they discover a new enthusiasm for their work. Teresa strives to help the small business owner run a better business and enjoy a better quality of life. "Making a difference in the life of a client by working with them to create pathways to reach their goals is one of the most fulfilling aspects of her job”

Teresa moved from her hometown of Dunnellon, Florida to Winston-Salem in 1986. Along with her husband Mark, she enjoys their family dogs, Charlie and Max. Teresa's favorite time of year is Spring, unless you count tax season!

Janice C. Opalinski, CPA NC License #20420

Title: CPA

Education: Bachelor of Arts degree, Psychology- Wake Forest University

Accolades and Professional Affiliations: Member of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Janice is also an usher at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.

View on Lindsay and Gardner: Initially, Janice worked with a Big 8 CPA firm in the field of computer consulting. From there, she worked with a small private firm that specialized in this field and helped clients with both hardware and software needs through the selection, implementation and support phases of the projects. Janice has many years of experience in all the facets of accounting. She enjoys working with clients and helping them with tax issues especially with the every-changing tax laws. “I like helping clients better understand the complexities of tax issues and try to explain matters in ways that make sense to them.”

Janice is a huge dog lover, partial to the Greyhound breed. She currently has seven Greyhounds herself and couldn't imagine life any other way. She enjoys the fall and winter seasons and the cool crisp air. Having been born and raised in Massachusetts she is a fan of the New England Patriots football and Boston Red Sox baseball teams.

Munish Chadha

Title: Tax Accountant

Education: Bachelor of Science in Business with concentration on Accounting- Emory and Henry College, Emory Virginia

View on Lindsay & Gardner: Munish likes to help business and individuals to achieve their maximum capacity in relation to tax savings. He diligently strives for maximizing business savings by capitalizing on existing tax laws and regulations. His passion is to research existing and new tax laws and regulation for the benefits of business and individual. “I like to see smile of satisfaction on client’s face for accounting and tax services well done.”

Originally from Marion Virginia, Munish enjoys family time with his wife and son along with their Golden Retriever named Bindi. He also likes to watch professional football.

Michelle Peschieri

Title: Accountant

Education: Bachelor of Science Degree, Accounting 1994 SUNY Plattsburg, New York

View on Lindsay & Gardner: Michelle enjoys working with clients that have a need for tax planning and systems and procedures development. She enjoys the challenges of consulting and addressing issues facing closely-held businesses and their owners. Quickbooks training is an area in which Michelle excels and has found a true niche where she services many of the firms’ clients. Professional success, as defined by Michelle is “resolving tax and operational issues that a client may currently have while anticipating future issues, with a focus on minimizing problems and maximizing efficiencies and results.”

Originally from Corinth, New York, Michelle and her family recently moved here. Together, they have 3 children and one grand-daughter. Michelle’s favorite baseball team is the New York Yankees and she loves spending time outdoors with her family

Buffy Crump

Title: Accountant

Education Certificate in Accounting-Davidson Community College

View on Lindsay & Gardner: Buffy’s accounting talents include intensive experience in bookkeeping, payroll and tax preparation. “Helping clients understand the complexity of tax issues is a passion and I enjoy being able to help businesses and individuals with their tax needs”.

Buffy stays busy with her three sons, one of which who is currently serving our country in the Marines. Summer is her favorite time of year, spending time outside enjoying the warm weather.

Kelsie Gardner

Title: Office Manager

Education: Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education from Western Oregon University

Years Invested with Lindsay & Gardner: since 2014

As the office manager, she makes sure the office is running smoothly. Kelsie enjoys working with clients- she is the “go to” person if you need something now. If Kelsie doesn’t know the answer right away, then she will make sure she can find out for you. Kelsie’s work motto, “providing awesome customer service!”

Kelsie grew up in Salem, Oregon and is currently making North Carolina home. She is an animal lover and has a labrador retriever name Bane that she enjoys taking on walks. Kelsie’s favorite time of the year is autumn, along with all the festivities of Thanksgiving.

Deborah Hartle

Title: Administrative Assistant

View on Lindsay & Gardner: Deborah enjoys helping clients set up appointments, answer questions about their tax filings and assisting Kelsie and Lynn with all the inter-office duties. “Getting to know each client on a personal level makes my job such a pleasure. I like to be able to help them get the answers they need right away”!

Deborah grew up in Winston-Salem, NC and has 5 grown children, 7 grandchildren and 3 dogs. She enjoys being a Counselor at Laurel Ridge Moravian Church Camp every summer and her favorite holiday is Christmas.
